Event logs
ResScan Essentials maintains a log of activities carried out by each user who signs in. These logs are stored with other Windows event logs and can be viewed using the Event Viewer utility from Microsoft. Contact your Windows system administrator for assistance with viewing event logs.
ResScan Essentials records the following information in event logs:
Attempts to start ResScan Essentials, along with the username supplied at the time of login and an indication of whether or not access to ResScan Essentials was granted.
Attempts to close ResScan Essentials, along with the username supplied at the time of login.
Access to patient records, along with the username supplied at the time of login and the identity of each patient whose record was accessed.
Creation of new patient records, along with the username supplied at the time of login and the identity of each patient record created.
Deletion of patient records, along with the username supplied at the time of login and the identity of each patient whose record was deleted.
Note
Logs are recorded in the default language set on your computer, provided that language is supported by ResScan Essentials. Supported languages are English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, and Dutch. If your language is not supported by ResScan Essentials, all logs are recorded in English.
