Match downloads to patients
When you insert an SD card for PAP machines or a USB stick for Astral devices, and ResScan Essentials is running, the application recognises the device and displays a popup window. You can click the popup to review data without assigning it to a patient.
If the serial number located on the SD card or USB stick matches an existing patient file, the Matched patient dialogue opens.
To download Matched patient data:
If this patient is the one you're looking for, click the patient.
Click Continue.
The Download data dialogue appears. By default, ResScan Essentials downloads summary data. To change this setting:
Select Detailed data for All nights, or choose from one of the other menu options: Last night, 7 nights, or 14 nights.
Select Include high-resolution data (when available).
Click Download data.
If the serial number doesn't match your patient
If the inserted SD card brings up a different Matched patient, you can select one of two options:
Search for a patient: enter the patient name or patient ID in the search bar if you know the patient has an existing account.
Create a new patient if the you know that that patient is not in the ResScan Essentials patient directory.
Fill in all the required patient details and click Continue.
Choose the correct download options for that patient.
