Trigger and cycle
Devices with VAuto, S and ST modes have adjustable trigger/cycle sensitivity to optimize changes in patient sleep patterns. Under normal conditions, the device triggers (initiates IPAP) and cycles (terminates IPAP and switches to EPAP) as it monitors and corrects patient respiration. ResMed's VSync automatic leak management recognizes and corrects patient breath patterns.
